Apply for one of our courses and benefit from the scheme that gives the student up to 70% of the total fees paid for the course in tax credits. Notwithstanding this fact, since tax is deducted at source in most cases, a refund is sent to the student at the end of the year as per the scheme’s rules, regulations, and conditions.

Students may apply for the GET QUALIFIED scheme up to one year from the starting date of the course or in the same year of completing the course.

GET QUALIFIED is an initiative that supports the personal development of individuals for the achievement of qualifications and certifications required by industry. The incentive is applicable to individuals following a course of studies leading to a certification, diploma, degree, or post-graduate degree courses. Upon successful completion, the student will benefit from a tax credit enabling them to recover part of the costs incurred.

The tax credit granted to successful students will be 70% of the eligible costs, yet the maximum value of tax credits will be capped in relation to the MQF level of the qualification as specified in the incentive guidelines.

Students who have obtained a qualification at MQF Level 3 and 4 (vocational studies only), and MQF Level 5 to 8, and non-level rated courses required for industry.

In order to benefit from tax credits in-line with the scheme guidelines, students need to follow the below procedure for application:

• Check if the course being pursued is in the list of approved courses.
• If the course is already in the approved list, students may opt to register themselves through the portal.
• Once registered, students will receive a username and password to access the online system and manage their application.
• If the course is not in the approved list, students should apply to be considered for eligibility under the scheme.

Institutions

• Apply for new courses to be considered eligible.
• Institutes applying for a course that is not already listed should use the application form to be considered for eligibility under the scheme.
• Register students to be considered for eligibility under the scheme.
